| Description du revers | Central high-relief depiction of the Long (龙), a dragon spine beast of the Forbidden City, rendered in gilt finish and shown in a seated posture with scaled body, clawed feet, and an elaborately detailed mane. Behind and around the beast, a detailed engraved panorama of Forbidden City architecture is visible against a dark matte field, including a frontal palatial hall at lower left and sweeping tiled rooftop eaves at upper right. To the left, auspicious clouds and a full moon are depicted in silver relief. The upper arc bears the legend 'The Spine Beast of the Forbidden City' in Latin script, while the Chinese character '龙' and its romanisation 'LONG' appear to the right of the central figure.
