| Obverse description | Black and multicolour intaglio-style print on white paper with an elaborate engraved border of scrollwork and laurel ornaments. The central vignette comprises a colour illustration of a Chatham albatross to the left of centre, set against a fine guilloche rosette underprint in pink and yellow, while an oval cameo to the right carries an engraved close-up portrait of a black robin. Oval counter medallions at each corner bear the year date 2001, and a circular holographic-style watermark vignette appears at the lower left. |
