| Obverse description | The Imperial Russian coat of arms — a double-headed eagle — is set within an arched architectural vignette on the left, framed by ornate classical pilasters and guilloche borders. The central field carries the denomination ТРИ РУБЛЯ in large Cyrillic text, with the authorization text stating the note is exchangeable from the reserve fund of the State Bank in silver or gold coin. The serial number and year date appear at the foot of the note, flanked by repeated denomination text along the top border. |
