Obverse description Gold foil note issued to commemorate Antiguan independence in November 1981, with the central vignette rendered in high-relief embossing showing a panoramic coastal landscape. The upper border carries the legend GOVERNMENT OF ANTIGUA & BARBUDA and INDEPENDENCE NOVEMBER 1981, while an oval medallion at left bears the national coat of arms and a portrait vignette of Queen Elizabeth II appears in an oval cartouche at right. The denomination 30 appears in each corner within guilloche roundels, and the lower border panel reads THIRTY DOLLARS above the Minister of Finance signature line.
