| Obverse description | Bare-headed effigy of President Albert-Bernard Bongo facing left, rendered in high relief against a plain field. The name ALBERT.BERNARD BONGO is inscribed in two lines along the lower rim, framed by a decorative dotted arc. The circular legend REPUBLIQUE GABONAISE runs along the upper periphery. Two stylised decorative elements resembling palm fronds or ceremonial fans flank the portrait at the left and right, and a small engraver's initial is visible below the truncation. |
