At 0.056 grams, this piece contains so little gold it barely registers on a precision scale — part of a wave of fractional "mini gold" issues that flooded the market after around 2015, produced almost entirely by the Polish mint Mennica Polska on behalf of African nations whose connection to the coins is nominal at best. Chad has issued dozens of such pieces across the same period, few of which ever circulate or hold numismatic significance beyond the novelty of their size.
