Obverse description Crowned and draped bust of Queen Victoria facing left, engraved in the Jubilee portrait style by Leonard Charles Wyon. The Queen wears a small state crown atop elaborately styled hair gathered at the nape with a ribbon, with fine detail rendered in the curling tresses. The legend VICTORIA QUEEN arcs around the periphery, flanked by a beaded border. The field is plain and slightly concave, lending the portrait a cameo-like relief characteristic of Royal Mint coinage of this period.
