| Descrição do reverso | The central field bears a multi-line inscription in Gothic characters denoting the denomination and nationality: +4+ SKILLI NCK·DA NSKE· +1544+, with the date 1544 appearing at the base, all enclosed within a beaded inner border. The outer legend, running continuously around the periphery, records the king's additional royal titles in abbreviated Latin. Cross stops punctuate both the central inscription and the outer legend, serving as word dividers in the conventional manner of the period. The flan exhibits the same irregular hammered character as the obverse, with slight edge cracks and natural planchet irregularities. The lettering throughout is bold and deeply struck, consistent with the workshop practice of the Danish royal mint in the 1540s. |

Christian III's 1544 coinage came at a pivotal moment in Danish monetary administration — the king had just consolidated Lutheran Protestantism as the state religion following the Count's Feud civil war, and the reorganization of church wealth provided significant silver flows into royal coffers.
