| Obverse description | Printed in blue on cream paper. Central right vignette of a multi-tiered Chinese temple with balustrades and stairways, inscribed 冥通銀行 on its façade. To the left, a large rosette underprint carries the numeral denomination 5000000 within a shaped cartouche. Corner medallions bear Chinese characters, with a guilloche border frame throughout.
