Obverse description Green intaglio print on a pale ground, with รัฐบาลไทย (Thai Government) inscribed at top centre and ห้าบาท (Five Baht) below. The central vignette presents a finely engraved view of Wat Benchamabophit (the Marble Temple), Bangkok, while a portrait of the young King Ananda Mahidol (Rama VIII) in military uniform appears to the right within a plain border.
