备注

Mountain Province was one of several Philippine regional governments that continued functioning under wartime emergency conditions following the Japanese invasion of December 1941. This 5 Centavos guerrilla note was issued under Commonwealth authority as part of a broader effort to maintain a working local currency when Manila-issued notes became scarce or suspect. The embossed seal was the only available authentication measure — hand presses and limited materials were the reality in provincial administration at the time.

Guerrilla province notes are frequently found with handling wear, foxing, and fold damage consistent with active use in rural circulation, often passing through multiple hands before Japanese forces consolidated control of the Cordillera region.
