背面描述 Central device depicts a sword thrust vertically, point downward, into a rocky crag or mound, serving as the heraldic emblem of the Principality of Seborga. The design is rendered in moderate relief against a smooth field. The circular legend PRINCIPATO DI SEBORGA runs clockwise around the upper periphery, while the denomination 5 cL appears in large stylized script at the lower portion of the field, flanked by decorative bullet stops.

附加信息

Seborga is a small Italian village near the French border whose residents voted in 1995 to assert the territory's purported independence based on an 18th-century clerical oversight — specifically, the claim that the Principality of Seborga was never formally included in the 1713 Treaty of Utrecht nor any subsequent Italian unification documents. Giorgio Carbone, a flower grower elected "prince" by the townspeople, presided over the issuance of this coinage as part of a broader effort to establish the trappings of statehood. The coins were never legal tender anywhere recognized.
