| Beschrijving keerzijde | A tall, naturalistically rendered rice plant with two grain-bearing stalks dominates the centre of the field, its stems and leaves fanning outward across the design. The large numeral 5 appears to the left of the plant, while the denomination CENT. and the trial designation ESSAI are incorporated within an oversized stylised letter C to the right. The circular legend INDOCHINE FRANCAISE arcs around the upper periphery, and the entire design is framed by the same decorative wave border as the obverse. |
