Obverse description At right, an intaglio portrait of King Hussein in traditional kuffiyeh is rendered against a red and pink guilloche underprint that covers the face of the note. Arabic inscriptions appear across the upper and central fields, with the denomination numeral repeated at lower left and lower right. Two facsimile signatures of the Governor and the Minister of Finance are placed at lower centre.

Reverse description The central vignette presents an intaglio view of the Treasury of the Pharaoh (Al-Khazneh) at Petra, its rose-red rock-cut facade framed within the narrow canyon walls. A decorative urn and desert flora occupy the left foreground, with a Nabataean column at far right. Hijri and Gregorian date inscriptions appear at lower right, with the bilingual bank name legend running along the lower margin.
