Obverse description Portrait of young King Hussein in three-quarter profile at right, set against a guilloche underprint in red and pale tones. A central arabesque vignette carries the Arabic denomination inscription, flanked by the serial number and two manuscript signatures below. Arabic legends of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan run along the upper border, with the denomination numeral 5 repeated in the corners.

Reverse description Central intaglio vignette of the Treasury of the Pharaoh (Al-Khazneh) at Petra, rendered in fine line engraving with classical columned facade framed by rock-cut cliffs.
