备注

The British Caribbean Territories Currency Board was established in 1950 to provide a unified currency across the Eastern Caribbean colonies — Barbados, British Guiana, British Honduras, the Leeward Islands, Trinidad and Tobago, and the Windward Islands. The arrangement was always politically provisional, and the currency board itself was dissolved in 1965 when the Eastern Caribbean Currency Authority took over, making this series one of the shortest-lived unified colonial issues in the region.

Bradbury, Wilkinson printed the series at their New Malden works, which handled a substantial portion of British colonial currency production during the 1950s. The P#9 is the highest denomination in the series — relatively scarce in circulated grades because five-dollar notes in small island economies tended to be hoarded rather than passed hand to hand.
