| Beschrijving keerzijde | A highly detailed, finely engraved kookaburra is depicted in profile, perched upon a naturalistic branch adorned with foliage that frames the lower and lateral fields. The bird's distinctive plumage, including its scaled breast and crested head, is rendered with exceptional relief against a mirror-polished background. A circled commemorative inscription marking the 35th Anniversary appears to the right of the bird in the upper field. The legend KOOKABURRA arcs along the upper rim, while the date 2025 is inscribed in the exergue. |

| Aanvullende informatie |
The Kookaburra series originated with Australia's Perth Mint in 1990, but licensing arrangements have periodically allowed other sovereigns to issue companion pieces under the same branding — Fiji's involvement here is a fiscal arrangement rather than any zoological or cultural connection to the bird itself. At 0.5 grams, these fractional gold issues exist almost entirely as collector instruments; none will see a Fijian pocket.
