Reverse description The crowned Czech lion, the traditional heraldic symbol of Bohemia, is depicted in a bold, sculptural rendition occupying the central field in a standing passant pose, its double tail curling prominently to the right side of the design. The lion wears a royal crown and displays finely detailed mane and musculature rendered in high relief. The legend ČESKÁ REPUBLIKA arcs along the left periphery, while the fineness and weight designation 1/25 oz · Au 999.9 runs along the upper right. The Czech Mint mark (ČM monogram) appears in small characters at the base of the design, and the letter D is inscribed to the right field adjacent to the lion's tail.
