| Obverse description | Elaborately engraved obverse in antiqued high relief featuring a central heraldic shield surmounted by a royal crown, with the Public Seal of Niue rendered in fine detail at the centre of the escutcheon. The seal bears the legend PUBLIC SEAL OF NIUE in a circular band, with the Niuean motto ATUA / NIUE TUKULAGI inscribed on a ribbon beneath on crossed implements. The shield is framed by exuberant acanthus and baroque scrollwork extending to the coin's periphery, with a crosshatched background field enhancing the sculptural depth. The designer's monogram TS appears below the shield, flanked by the denomination numeral 5 and face value 5 DOLLARS along the lower arc. The legends WONDERLAND along the upper arc, 2 OZ. at the left, and AG 999 within a scroll cartouche at the right, together with the date 2026, complete the inscriptions. |

| Additional information |
Niue has operated as a prolific licensing hub for commemorative coinage since the 1990s, contracting its sovereign issuing authority to foreign mints and distributors producing collector pieces with no circulation intent. This particular issue belongs to a long-running series of Lewis Carroll-themed coins that Niue has attached its name to, a arrangement common among Pacific micro-states whose numismatic programs function almost entirely as revenue instruments rather than monetary infrastructure.
