The centre carries the denomination FIVE DOLLARS in bold letterpress, above the date 1st July 1941, with the legal tender inscription in English, Jawi, and Tamil scripts. A large ornamental numeral '5' vignette appears at left, and the serial number is printed twice in dark ink. |
