正面描述	Central design featuring a stylized depiction of Luxembourg City's fortifications, with crenellated walls and a prominent church spire rising above the gatehouse. The Luxembourgish coat of arms, displaying a quartered shield with rampant lions, is placed at the lower center beneath the gateway arch. Twelve five-pointed stars arc across the upper field in reference to the European Community. The country name LËTZEBUERG is inscribed across the middle of the fortification, with the denomination 5 to the left and ECU to the right, and the split date 19 / 93 at the lower right. 背面描述	Facing three-quarter portrait of Joseph Bech, the distinguished Luxembourgish statesman and one of the founding fathers of European integration, depicted in a suit and bow tie against a stylized crenellated tower motif in the background. His facsimile signature appears in the right field. The inscription JOSEPH BECH with his birth and death years 1887 and 1975 is arranged in four lines at the lower left. The curved legend GRAND-DUCHE DE LUXEMBOURG runs along the upper periphery. Engraved by Ian Rank-Broadley.
