Reverse description The denomination inscription '伍角' (Five Jiao) is rendered in large, bold Chinese characters at the centre of the field. The central device is encircled by an ornate continuous border of stylised traditional Chinese fret and scroll motifs, occupying the full inner rim and referencing classical bronze vessel decorative patterns. The rim itself features a reeded edge consistent with the coin's overall design.
