| Description du revers | The reverse displays a vivid multicolour composition centred on traditional Papua New Guinean cultural artefacts rendered in fine intaglio engraving: a Kina shell crescent ornament, a carved ceremonial mask with feather headdress, and an elaborate shell and fibre necklace, all set against a warm orange and yellow patterned underprint of traditional geometric motifs. A stylised numeral 5 in ornamental script occupies the upper left, and the denomination FIVE KINA is inscribed vertically at the right margin in red.
