This note was printed by Goznak in Moscow as part of a series prepared for the Czechoslovak government-in-exile's return to liberated territory. The arrangement reflected the Soviet Union's logistical role in supporting the eastward re-entry of the Czechoslovak administration through Slovakia in 1944–45, with currency needing to be ready before the front had fully moved.
Goznak-printed Czechoslovak notes from this period are sometimes underestimated by collectors focused on the Western-printed issues from London. The Moscow connection is the more politically charged production story.
