Opmerkingen

Sveriges Riksbank issued official "leksedlar" — toy banknotes — for educational purposes, intended to give children a functional facsimile of current currency without producing anything legally passable as tender. The 1974 5 Kronor example corresponds to the contemporaneous circulating series and was deliberately underscaled and overprinted to preclude misuse.

Collectible more as monetary ephemera than numismatic material. The Riksbank's willingness to produce these officially separates them from the unlicensed novelty notes common elsewhere in Europe.
