Fantasy or "fantezie" notes occupy a grey area in notaphily — they are neither forgeries nor genuine issues, but deliberate artistic objects produced outside any monetary authority. This one, issued under the invented "Banca Fantezista a Romaniei," is a 2024 production by Romanian designer Dani Crișan, whose work in this space tends toward careful compositional detail rather than crude novelty novelty items.
