| Obverse description | The obverse is dominated by a large Moorish arch vignette rendered in intaglio, set against an intricate guilloche underprint in shades of red, green, and orange. Arabic inscriptions in the upper panel read the bank name and denomination خمس ليرات (Five Livres), with the date 1 February 1935 and two manuscript signatures below. Arabesque foliate ornaments frame the composition on either side, with serial number panels at each corner. |
