| 背面描述 | A large, spreading baobab-style tree dominates the central field, rendered in detailed intaglio engraving in brown tones over a pale guilloche underprint, with a small herd of cattle grazing beneath its canopy. An orange camel vignette appears to the left of the tree, and a circular sun-and-gear emblem is positioned in the upper right corner. The denomination numeral '5' appears in each lower corner within ornate scroll cartouches. |

| 备注 |
Eritrea's 2015 note series — of which this is part — was the second full issue since the Bank of Eritrea replaced the Ethiopian birr with the nakfa in November 1997, a currency introduction that doubled as a political severance from Ethiopia following the 1998–2000 border war. The nakfa itself is named after the highland town that served as a logistics base for the EPLF during the independence struggle.
Giesecke & Devrient have printed Eritrean currency since the original 1997 nakfa launch, giving the series an unusually consistent production history for a country of Eritrea's size and isolation.
