The Hijri date 1188 appears prominently at the base of the legend, with the mint name Tripoli West (طرابلس غرب) occupying the upper portion. The inscription is enclosed within a rope or cable border matching the obverse, a hallmark of Tripolitan provincial coinage. The flan shows typical hammered irregularity, and a small die crack is visible near the upper right of the coin. |
