| 备注 |
The Banco Nacional de las Provincias Unidas del Río de la Plata was the second attempt at a national bank in the region — the first, the Banco de Buenos Aires, had collapsed in 1826 under the weight of paper overissue and the costs of the war with Brazil. This successor institution, established in 1826 under a revised charter, issued notes locally in Buenos Aires rather than through European printers, which was the practical reality for most Argentine paper of the period.
By 1834 the bank itself was in political difficulty; the Rosas government was deeply hostile to it and would force its liquidation in 1836. Notes from these final years of issue are correspondingly scarce.
