The place and date 'GIBRALTAR, 1st October, 1927' appear at lower left, with a manuscript signature of the Colonial Treasurer at lower right, and the serial number printed twice in the middle register. |

A rectangular panel at the foot bears the denomination legend in bold letterpress, and the imprint of Waterlow & Sons Ltd appears in small type at the lower margin. |
