| Reverse description | The reverse is engraved in green on a pale ground and draws entirely on traditional Cypriot needlework motifs. To the left, a large diamond-shaped Lefkaritika lace panel with nested geometric cross-stitch patterns forms the principal vignette, while to the right a circular embroidery medallion with floral and foliate interlace occupies the corresponding field. Sinuous flowering vine tendrils connect the two vignettes across the centre, and a delicate lace-pattern guilloche border runs along all four edges. The issuer name and denomination are set in elegant script above and below the central field respectively. |
