备注	The Commercial Bank of Tasmania Limited was absorbed into the Bank of Australasia in 1921, making all surviving notes from its final decade relatively scarce. By 1910, Australian private banknote circulation was already under pressure — the Commonwealth Bank had been established the previous year, and it was increasingly clear that the private trading banks' note-issuing privileges would eventually be curtailed, as they were formally after 1910 under the Australian Notes Act. The absence of a printed date on this issue is characteristic of Tasmanian private bank practice of the period, with dates applied at the branch on issue.
