QRM Club notes were scrip issued for use within the United States Strategic Air Command facility in Tehran during the Pahlavi era — internal canteen or club currency, not legal tender in any jurisdiction. "QRM" is ham radio shorthand for interference or jamming, which suggests the facility had a signals or communications component, though the exact operational character of the site is not publicly documented.
The perforation security feature is characteristic of low-volume scrip runs where full intaglio printing was unnecessary. These notes circulated in a closed loop and were never meant to leave the compound.
