Three guilloche medallions bearing the value Rs.5 in Roman and Eastern scripts are arranged along the lower portion, with date and issuing office inscriptions reading OFFICE OF THE COMMISSIONERS OF CURRENCY, PORT LOUIS, and two manuscript signature lines at bottom.
