| 背面描述 | The reverse presents a detailed high-relief portrait of a Sentinelese native archer in three-quarter view, drawing a long bow with arrows, rendered in a naturalistic style against a dark blackened field. Above and to the left, a scallop shell device is flanked by four raised dots arranged in an arc, evoking a constellation motif. In the upper right field, a primitive pictographic figure of a running archer is engraved in a stylized petroglyph manner. The date '2021' appears in the lower left exergue, and the engraver's Cyrillic monogram 'ВБ' (Vitaly Bakhtinov) is placed discreetly in the lower right field. |

North Sentinel Island falls under the administrative jurisdiction of the Andaman and Nicobar Islands territory, but the Indian government has maintained a strict exclusion zone around it since 2018 — effectively codifying into law what had always been a practical reality. The Sentinelese have resisted contact for millennia. India issues no currency for the island, collects no taxes, and exercises sovereignty in name only.
This piece is a fantasy or novelty issue. No recognized monetary authority has ever established a shell-denominated currency for North Sentinel, and no issuing infrastructure exists there.
