备注

The ABnc small-format series for the Banco Central de Reserva del Perú was introduced in the early 1930s as Peru's economy was still reorienting after the collapse of the Leguía government and the suspension of gold convertibility in 1932. The Banco Central itself had only been established in 1922, and these notes reflect an institution still building its credibility through conservative, professionally printed currency from a prestige foreign house.

The printing contract with American Bank Note Company in New York placed Peru in good company — ABnc held similar arrangements with numerous Latin American central banks throughout the interwar period, and quality control was consistent across the series. Date range across this type spans six years, suggesting steady reorders rather than a single large print run.
