| Obverse description | Printed in brown and orange tones on a fine guilloche underprint, the obverse bears a vignette of the ornate arched gateway of the Kusumbag Mosque in Rajshahi at right, rendered in intaglio detail. A large circular watermark zone occupies the left field, flanked by the numeral '৫' in all four corners, with water lily motifs in the central underprint. Bengali inscriptions, the denomination in large Bangla script, and the Governor's facsimile signature appear across the centre. |
