Molossia is a micronation occupying a residential property in Dayton, Nevada, claimed by Kevin Baugh since 1998. Its currency, the Valora, is pegged not to a national currency or commodity but to Pillsbury cookie dough — specifically, one Valora equals the price of one tube of Pillsbury refrigerated cookie dough at the time of a given transaction.
The Bank of Molossia has no regulatory standing under any recognized monetary authority. These notes circulate only within Molossia's claimed territory and among collectors, making their practical function closer to novelty scrip than banknote proper.
