Reverse description The reverse is dominated by a detailed intaglio vignette of the Grand People's Study House on Mansan Hill in Pyongyang, its traditional Korean palace-style tiered rooflines rendered with fine engraved cross-hatching against a light guilloche underprint in pale blue and rose tones. The numeral "5" appears at lower left and upper corners, with the Korean denomination "오원" at lower right, all framed by ornate guilloche borders. The issuer's name in Korean script is inscribed in a banner across the lower portion of the central vignette.
