正面描述	Printed in red on a cream ground, the obverse carries a vignette of the Bank of Taiwan building at left and a central oval portrait of Dr. Sun Yat-sen within an intaglio frame. A map of Taiwan occupies the right panel, flanked by ornate guilloche borders. The bank title in Chinese characters appears across the top, with the denomination and date of issue inscribed along the lower margin.

The entire design is enclosed within an elaborate geometric lathe-work border with corner ornaments.
