| Reverse description | Plain, unadorned reverse field with a prominent square inner rim (inner border) enclosing the central square hole, creating a double-frame effect characteristic of Wu Zhu cash coins of this period. No inscription or decorative device is present. The raised inner border is relatively well-defined despite the diminutive size of the flan, and the outer rim is a simple raised band. The surfaces show typical olive-green and blue-green patination consistent with long burial, and minor casting irregularities are visible across the flat field. |
