| Obverse description | The national emblem of Oman is prominently displayed in the centre of the field, consisting of two crossed curved swords (khanjar) with a traditional Omani dagger superimposed at the intersection, all rendered in fine relief. The emblem is enclosed by an inner dashed border ring that runs near the coin's periphery. An Arabic legend curves along the upper portion of the field reading 'Qaboos bin Said', while a second Arabic legend along the lower arc reads 'Sultan of Oman', together identifying the reigning monarch. |

| Reverse description | The large Arabic numeral '٥٠' (50) is centrally placed in the field, flanked on either side by a miniature rendition of the Omani national emblem. The denomination legend 'بيسة' (Baisa) is inscribed in Arabic script above the numeral. The Hijri year, rendered in Eastern Arabic-Indic numerals, appears in the lower portion of the field below the central denomination. A dashed inner border ring frames the entire design, consistent with the obverse. |
