SP "MIN" was a Yugoslav socially-owned enterprise based in Niš — the kind of large industrial or retail kombinat that issued its own scrip to employees as part of the Yugoslav self-management system. These internal vouchers, sometimes called "bonovi," circulated within the enterprise's own shops and canteens rather than in general commerce, functioning as a parallel wage supplement that sidestepped federal monetary channels entirely.
The issuer name — "Preduzeće Društveni Standard" — translates roughly as "Social Standard Enterprise," suggesting a welfare or consumer goods operation. Printed locally in Niš, almost certainly on unsophisticated equipment with no anti-counterfeiting provision worth noting.
