| 背面描述 | A panoramic engraved vignette of the Gulf of Aqaba occupies the central field, with sailing vessels on calm water, palm trees lining the right shore, and arid hills rising in the background. The denomination "50 DINARS" appears above the central vignette within a rectangular panel, and "FIFTY DINARS" is lettered across the lower centre. Corner numerals "50" and framing guilloche borders complete the design. |

| 备注 |
The Jordan Currency Board was established under the Jordan Currency Law of 1949, which severed the country's monetary link to the Palestine pound following the end of the British Mandate. This 50 Dinars note belongs to the inaugural issue of the new Jordanian dinar, making it among the earliest expressions of an independent currency for the Hashemite Kingdom.
De La Rue handled the full series, as they had managed much of the currency infrastructure across British-administered territories in the region. The 50 Dinars was the highest denomination in that first series — significant given the economic disruption caused by the 1948 Arab-Israeli war and the influx of Palestinian refugees that had fundamentally altered Jordan's population and economy within months of the currency's design being commissioned.
