背面描述 The reverse, rendered in matching purple, green, and yellow, presents a naturalistic vignette of Nymphalid butterflies set among tropical flowers, lizards, shells, and indigenous plant motifs, with a decorative spear and a stylized bird registration device. An 18 mm wide micro-optic stripe runs vertically across the design, providing a prominent machine-readable security element alongside the pictorial composition.

备注

The 2023 series marks a continuation of the Solomon Islands' long relationship with Thomas De La Rue, which has printed the territory's notes since the first Central Bank issues of the 1970s. The 50 Dollar denomination sits at the top of the paper series — the islands also issue polymer notes at lower denominations, making this one of the few remaining paper notes in active circulation in the country.

Security is notably spare for a contemporary high-denomination note: watermark and thread only, with no optically variable ink or color-shifting features. Whether that reflects cost considerations or a deliberate choice for a low-volume Pacific economy is not documented publicly.
