Opmerkingen

Fiji's shift to Guardian® polymer for this denomination follows the Reserve Bank's broader security upgrade program, though the 2026 date makes this one of the more recently issued Pacific notes in circulation. Crane Currency's involvement is notable — the Massachusetts firm is better known for its cotton-linen banknote paper supplied to the U.S. Federal Reserve, and its polymer printing operation represents a relatively recent expansion of Crane's manufacturing scope beyond substrate production into full security printing.

TBB#537 places this within the current Fijian series. Earlier Fiji polymer notes had documented issues with ink adhesion in high-humidity tropical conditions — worth bearing in mind for long-term storage.
