| Obverse description | The coat of arms of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic occupies the central field, depicting a double-headed eagle with wings spread, surmounted by a crown, and bearing a shield charged with a mountain landscape and traditional Armenian stepped ornament. The eagle is set against a radiant sunburst background, flanked by crossed rifles and framed below by sprigs of wheat on the left and a grapevine cluster on the right. A banner across the upper portion of the arms bears the Armenian inscription 'ԱՐՑԱԽ' (Artsakh).
