| Beschrijving voorzijde | The left half of the obverse is dominated by an intaglio vignette of the Tshokwe female mask known as 'Mwana Pwo', rendered in fine line engraving against a geometric guilloche underprint in orange and buff tones, with the vertical legend 'CINQUANTE FRANCS' running along the left margin. The central and right portions carry the bank title 'BANQUE CENTRALE DU CONGO' at the top, a large diamond-shaped guilloche with the interlaced 'BCC' monogram at centre, and a single Governor's signature below with the issue date. Denomination numerals '50' appear in the lower corners and in an optical variable ink oval at the lower right, with the alphanumeric serial number printed in red. |
