| Reverse description | The large numeral '50' dominates the upper field, flanked on either side by naturalistic sprays of linden branches bearing heart-shaped leaves and blossoms. Below, two stalks of wheat fan outward symmetrically and are bound together at the center with a ribbon tied in a bow, creating a decorative bouquet motif that fills the entire field. The engraver's signature O.ŠPANIEL appears in small letters along the lower rim. The design is deeply and crisply struck, consistent with a trial or pattern piece, with no peripheral legend. |

Trial strikes of this denomination from the early 1930s were part of Czechoslovakia's ongoing experimentation with base-metal coinage as the global depression compressed government budgets and forced monetary authorities across Europe to reconsider the economics of small-denomination production. Brass was one of several alloys tested; it was ultimately not adopted for circulating issues of this type.
